Libby FAQ

Are you a first time user or is something happening in Libby that doesn’t make sense? See if our FAQ answers your questions. If not, please do not hesitate to call us.

Make sure you have selected Florence County Library System and then enter the full barcode number off the back of your library card.

Both e-books and audiobooks are 14 days. If nobody is waiting on it, you can renew it for another 14 days.

You can. If you do a search in Libby and can’t find what you’re looking for, you can hit the “Deep Search” button to see if it is available. If it is, you can hit the “Notify Me” text next to the book cover image to let us know you want it. Please note, we cannot guarantee you that we will purchase it.

Good news! Because we purchase many of our titles using OverDrive Advantage, Florence County cardholders get priority on holds on titles that we’ve purchased, which means you get your books and audiobooks quicker.

Please call us and we will do our best to help. If you want to see if you can fix it yourself, you can always search Libby help at http://help.libbyapp.com

Sora FAQ

To add us, open the Sora app and click on the three vertical lines at the top of your screen, then click “Add Library.” Type in “Florence County Library System” to find and add us.

You will need to contact your child’s school library. We do not have access to their codes.

Sora automatically limits access to only juvenile and young adult titles. Appropriateness to your child is between the parent and student. We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s reading journey.
