The mission of the Florence County Library System Bookmobile is to provide information services, reading materials and resources to children who are unable to use other libraries due to geographic, transportation, economic or other barriers.

Patron must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of or property holder in Florence County to register for a library card account. A property holder is an individual who pays taxes on land in Florence County.
This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law.
The Law Library, as established by Act 470 of the 112th Session of the South Carolina General Assembly, contains legal volumes available for patron usage within the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library.
FCLS meeting rooms are designed to meet the operational needs of the library and accommodate the educational, cultural, and civic functions of the community.
FCLS provides free notary services at its main Florence Branch and Lake City Public Library, performed by staff who are notaries public. These services are ideal for document notarization needs.
Patrons may print up to 10 free black and white pages per day. If the patron needs more pages printed, or if they need to print in color, please use public computers for self-service printing.
