All locations of the Florence County Library System will be closed from Friday, April 3, 2026 through Sunday, April 5, 2026 in observance of Easter. We will resume normal business hours on Monday morning.

Applicant is aware they must bring a valid photo I.D. to appointment and are responsible for bringing their own witness. Library staff will not serve as witnesses.

Room Information

Reserving this Room

Must have a minimum of 5 attendees to reserve this study room, but no more than 14. Groups with less than 5 are free to make use of our other "first-come, first-serve" study rooms. Groups of more than 14 should look into reserving one of our larger meeting rooms. Please call (843) 413-7074 with any questions.

NOTE: Study rooms are not soundproof.

The person(s) whose name is on the reservation must sign in for the study room at the reference desk. The group may not occupy the room until it has been signed in.
Rooms can only be reserved for 2 hours. If no one is waiting, patrons may remain in the room past their 2 hours. If all rooms are occupied when someone requests a room, the patron who has been in their room the longest will be asked to leave to accommodate the new request.
No sleeping.
Door must remain shut while in room.
Children 13 years of age and younger may not occupy a study room without a parent or adult caregiver aged 18+ in the room with them at all times.
Lights must remain on at all times during occupation.
Please do not remove chairs or move the table.
No sign, decoration nor any other object may be affixed to or blocking any wall, window or door of any study room.
Belongings left unattended longer than 10 minutes will be removed.
The Library is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to belongings left in study rooms.
Patrons using study rooms are subject to the Library Code of Conduct.
An occupant must remain in the study room at all times.
Please be on time. Study rooms will only be held for 15 minutes past their reservation time, after that, the reservation will be cancelled.
Study rooms must be vacated 15 minutes prior to closing or at the following times during normal hours of operation:

Monday - Thursday 6:45pm

Friday 5:15pm

Saturday 12:45pm

I certify that I am an officer of the above named organization and that I have the authority to reserve the meeting room. It is understood by our organization that neither the Florence County Library System nor the County of Florence will assume any responsibility for supplies or equipment used in the library in conjunction with this meeting/activity and that these entities are also released and discharged from any and all liability for any loss, injury, or damage to person(s) or property that may be sustained as a result of this meeting. In signing this application, the organization and/or its representatives affirm that the Meeting Room Guidelines have been read and agrees to abide by them and to be responsible for damages to Library equipment, furniture and facilities that may be sustained during its scheduled use of the room.
