Join the Florence County Library in its celebration of Children’s Book Week, highlighting Dav Pilkey!
Beginning on November 3 and running until November 26 , children in 2 - 5 grades are invited to join the Dav Pilkey Scavenger Hunt at the Florence County Library. This scavenger hunt focuses on all of Pilkey’s famous book characters, such as Dog Man, Cat Kid, the Mighty Robot, Ricky Ricotta, and more.
Participants will search the children’s library for all of the characters who have been let loose from their book pages. After each character has been found, participants will then turn in completed scavenger hunt logs for prizes at the children’s desk, and everyone who completes the scavenger hunt will be entered into a grand prize drawing.
This special event is free to the public and will take place at the Florence County Library at 509 S. Dargan Street, Florence, South Carolina 29506.
