The Mulhollland-Attanasio Collection
The Mulhollland-Attanasio Collection is made possible through a generous art donation from Carol Mullholland Attanasio and Ralph Attanasio of Florence. The collection features over 30 works which include sculpture, paintings, pottery, and mixed media by artists Carol Mullholland, Jack Dowis, and others. Carol Mullholland Attanasio is a multimedia artist whose eclectic works have been shown and owned throughout the United States. Jack and Cathy Dowis also made a generous art donation as part of this collection.

Mighty South
In May 2025, the Morris Gallery received a generous donation of paintings from Mr. Willson Powell of Columbia, SC. Mr. Powell is a Florence native who wanted to give back to the community he grew up in. The collection consists of twenty paintings by Russian-American artist Nikolai Oskolkov, also of Columbia. Oskolkov’s works range from Carolina landscapes and Charleston street scenes to far away depictions including Venice and Moscow. This well-travelled artist’s works appear in numerous private collections and have been exhibited in New York City.
Mr. Powell also made a generous monetary donation to the Friends of Florence County Library in memory of Dr. N. Lee Morris.
