FREE TAX PREP IN JOHNSONVILLE
A representative from SC THRIVE (previously, Benefit Bank of SC) will be on hand to help prepare state and federal tax returns at the library on two Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in March. Tuesday dates include: March 8 and March 22. The representative will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on these aforementioned dates.
This free service is available to those with income of $65,000 or less. The representative is also available for those needing help with the Affordable Care Act sign up, SNAP eligibility, and FAFSA application aid. For an appointment, please call 843-386-2052 or stop by the library.
COLORING CLUB IN JOHNSONVILLE
The Johnsonville Public Library will host our coloring program, Splash of Color Coloring Club on Monday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m and at 5:30 p.m.. Every month will feature a new 8.5 x 11 themed print. Colored pencils, watercolors, and markers will be provided to help exercise those creative muscles. Have supplies of your own? Feel free to bring friends and any extra materials you may want to use when creating your own piece of art!
This program is open to adults and teens in grades 5 to 12. The event is free and lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. For more information, please call the library at (843) 386-2052.
FAMILY MOVIE IN JOHNSONVILLE
The Johnsonville Public Library is hosting our March Saturday Family Matinee on Saturday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. This month’s feature is the newest comedy adventure from the creators of Chicken Run and Wallace and Grommit! Kids, bring your friends and family to the Johnsonville Public Library to participate in this FREE event. The movie is family-approved and rated PG. STORYTIME IN JOHNSONVILLE
The Johnsonville Public Library will host our monthly Family Storytime on Wednesday, March 16 at 9:10 a.m. This program is open to children ages 2-5 years and their parents or caretakers, and siblings.
Participants will practice rhymes, share stories, and participate in movement activities. November’s theme is Easter and Bunny stories. The program is free and lasts about 45 minutes.

BOOK CLUB TO MEET IN JOHNSONVILLE
The Johnsonville Library Book Club will meet at the Johnsonville Public Library on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:30 am. Join us as we discuss All the Light We Cannot See, by award winning author Anthony Doer. The story of a blind French girl and a young German boy whose lives become entangled during the devastating Nazi invasion of Paris during World War II.
Refreshments will be provided. This program is FREE and sponsored by the Friends of the Johnsonville Public Library.
